General Conditions of Hotel Services

  1. Accommodation Procedures:

1.1. For registration of accommodate there is necessary to have a passport, birth certificate (for persons under 16 years of age), and for foreign citizens – a national passport, a valid visa (if necessary) or another proof of identification.

1.2. Registration of accommodation is carried out by the administrator of the front office. In case of his absence the manager of the front office.

1.3. To receive a room, it is necessary to fill in the registration form, which is a contractual agreement between the guest and the hotel.

  1. Check-out Time

2.1. Check-in time is 14:00. Check-in from 06:00 to 14:00. It is considered an early arrival and is paid in the amount of 50% of the cost per day. The check-in is from 00:00 to 06.00 is paid in full cost of the daily rate. The rules are subject to change depending on the season.

2.2. Check-out time is 12:00. Check-out time is from 12:00 to 18:00 and is considered a late check out and is paid in the amount of 50% of the cost of the daily rate. Check-out after 18.00 is paid in full the cost of the daily rate. The rules are subject to change depending on the season.

2.3. The services of early check-in, late check-out, as well as the extension of stay at the hotel is subject to availability. The guest must notify the clerk of the front office whether there is the need for an early arrival, late departure or extension.

  1. Booking, payment and cancellation policy

3.1. Payment for accommodation and services provided by the hotel is made in cash, by bank transfer or by credit card (Visa, MasterCard), according to the current price list at the hotel. Payment for accommodation and additional services is made in the national currency Hryvnia.

3.2. For guaranteed reservation of a hotel room, an advance payment in the amount of the cost of one night stay is made with the subsequent payment upon arrival of the remaining amount for the entire stay.

3.3. Cancellation without penalty is possible 48 hours before the arrival in the high season and 24 hours before arrival in the low season. In case of late cancellation or non show, a fine is paid in the amount of the first night.

3.4. In case of non-guaranteed reservation, the hotel reserves the right to cancel this reservation with the obligatory notification of the guest.

3.5. Children under 3 years old stay at the hotel free of charge with a baby cot.

3.6. Children from 3 to 6 years old stay at the hotel for free without provision of extra bed.

3.7. Children from 6 to 12 years old live in a hotel with a surcharge of 300 UAH/night with the provision of an extra bed and breakfast. Accommodation is possible in the rooms of such categories as Superior, Semilux, and Family Rooms.

3.8. Extra bed for adults is provided with a surcharge of 500 UAH/night with the provision of an extra bed and breakfast. Accommodation is possible in the rooms of category Superior, Junior Suite, Family Suite.

3.9. If you need to stay with children or provide additional space, please inform the hotel staff when booking.

  1. Rules of Stay and Occupancy of Hotel Area

4.1. To ensure fire safety regulations the guests staying in the Hotel “Redling” are prohibited to:

* Use their own electric heaters, iron, heater, extension cords in the rooms

* Store and bring flammable and flammable materials, highly toxic materials, weapons, bulky items, chemical and radioactive substances in the rooms. Large-sized items (length, height, width of which exceeds 180 cm in total) are delivered to the storage room

* Smoke in hotel rooms, in a bed, leave cigarettes non-grinding, and throw them outside of the waste-basket. The penalty for smoking in inappropriate places is 5000 UAH (five thousand Hryvnia)

* Cover switched on wing-bars and stand lamps

4.2. To ensure safety and security of guests staying at the Hotel Redling, it is prohibited to:

* Leave strangers in the room when you are absent

* Invite strangers in the room without registration in the prescribed manner in the absence of an identity document, the meeting should take place in the hotel lobby

* Keep weapons without appropriate documents

* Throw garbage and bottles from hotel windows

* Keep pets in the room without the permission from the manager

* Rearrange, move furniture from the room, take bedding out

* Perform actions that violate the peace and quiet of guests at night

* In case of non-compliance by guests with the rules of residence, the clerk has the right to conduct their early check-out.

* If any suspicious items or persons are found in the rooms or at the hotel, please immediately inform the clerk of the front office.

4.3. Pool Entry Rules

* Guests staying in the hotel, visit the pool for free. Children under 14 years old are in the pool only with accompanying persons. Responsibility for children, as well as possible damage caused by children, are hold by persons accompanying them (parents, persons by power of attorney)

* Children under 4 years old unaccompanied in the pool and without life jackets are prohibited to swim!

* Uniform when in the pool: bathing suit, removable shoes.

Children must be wearing life jackets or armbands: put on them and not allow taking off while swimming.

* You must follow the rules of personal hygiene and be sure to take a shower without a bathing suit before visiting the pool.

* In the presence of minor abrasions, it is recommended to treat the damaged part with an antibacterial agent and use a waterproof adhesive plaster.

4.3.1 It is prohibited to:

– Jump into the water.

– Dive in length and depth, use any exercises related to breath holding.

– Send natural needs to the pool bowl.

– Independently teach swimming other visitors, including children.

– To be drunk, intoxicated, smoke.

– Run around the side of the pool, jump from the side of the pool into the water.

– Chewing Gum.

– Carry the breakable items into the pool area.

– Bring your own drinks and food.

– Eat food and beverages in non-designated areas..

– Visit by persons with medical contraindications (infectious skin diseases, open wounds, breathing difficulties, vestibular disorder, etc.).

– have outerwear and outdoor shoes.

– Have any animals and birds.

4.3.2 The hotel is not responsible for injuries and damages arising from non-compliance with the rules when visiting the pool

4.3.3 Pool visitors are obliged to observe and maintain public order and generally accepted standards of behavior, to behave respectfully in relation to other visitors, service personnel, to prevent actions that create a danger to others. If the visitor’s desired or non-desired actions (behavior) pose a threat to his own life and/or health, as well as to the health and/or lives of others, or contradict generally accepted standards of morality and ethics, hotel staff may apply measures to these persons in the form of suspension from visiting the pool, as well as refusing to provide any services in future, take outside the pool and the hotel’s territory as well or call law enforcement officers.

4.4. Children’s Room Rules

* One and the same person should bring and take away the child.

* Children from 2 to 12 years old are invited to the children’s area. A child under 2 years old in the children’s area should be under the supervision of a parent or accompanying person.

* To bring food to the children’s area is not allowed. If you want to feed the child, you can use the restaurant area.

* To change children’s things, change diapers should be only in specially designated places (toilets).

* The guest is obliged to inform all the individual characteristics of the child, the distinctive features of his character, his preferences, the child’s health, etc.

* The guest is recommended to look up the child at first, helping him to adapt to the new environment.

* In case of obvious deviated behavior on the part of the child (aggression, hysterical states, intentional damage to the property), the hotel’s administration has the right to demand that the parents have a personal attendance when the child are the children’s area or take the child out of the children’s area.

* Leaving the child, the Guest is obliged to leave any information to the animator about the place of his location, and a contact phone.

* In case of violation of these rules by the Guest, the hotel administration has the right to limit the stay of the Guest; persons invited to them, children, individuals whose guardians they are in the children’s area.

4.5. Rules When Visiting the Playground

4.5.1. The following is prohibited on the playground:

* to use children’s play equipment intended for younger and middle age by persons who have reached the 12th age and 70 kg;

* to visit it by persons in a state of drug and alcohol intoxication;

* to walk pets in the playground;

* to be unattended for adults for younger children (under 6 years of age);

* to bring into the territory any items made of glass and metal, i.e. potentially dangerous sharp objects (razors, knives), all kinds of toxic, flammable, explosive substances;

* to behave in an inappropriate manner: using foul language, fighting, drinking alcohol, littering and smoking;

* Children and adults with infectious diseases are not allowed in public places;

* to damage equipment, break and spoil, repair it by himself. In case of breakage, inform the administration immediately;

4.5.2. The administration is not liable for received injuries, abrasions and for the general health of guests who did not comply or improperly followed the rules of use.

If you violate the rules when visiting the children’s playground, the administration will be forced to ask you to leave the territory.

  1. Rights and Obligations of Guests

5.1. Hotel guests are required to comply with the established order of stay, cleanliness, fire safety rules, when leaving the room to close taps, windows, and the entrance door of the room.

5.2. Upon detection of the loss of personal belongings from the room, the guest is obliged to immediately notify the hotel’s clerk for taking appropriate action.

5.3. In case of loss or damage of the hotel property, the guest shall, in accordance with
the current legislation be obliged to compensate the damage caused to the hotel according to the approved price list.

5.4. Guests are responsible for any actions of visitors invited to their room.

5.5. Guests on departure must make full payment for the services provided by the hotel.

  1. Liabilities and Responsibility of the Hotel

6.1. The hotel staff provides high quality guest service and proper sanitary and technical condition of all rooms and grounds.

6.2. The hotel offers guests at their request additional services according to the approved price lists.

6.3. The hotel is not responsible for the safety of securities, money, things, jewelry left in the room. All valuables can be stored in the safe deposit box of the guest room, located in the front office.

6.4. In case of discovery of forgotten things, the hotel takes measures to return them to the owner.

6.5. The guest takes note and does not object to the fact of using the systems (except for rooms and bathrooms on the floors) of the video surveillance in the premises of the hotel.
6.6. The hotel is not responsible for valuables that are not stored in the safe deposit box.

6.7. The hotel is not responsible for the work of public facilities (emergency power outages, water supply).

  1. Tax Code of Ukraine. Article 268. Tourist Tax

7.1. Tourist tax is a local tax, funds from which are credited to the local budget.

7.2. Tax payers:

The taxpayers are citizens of Ukraine, foreigners, as well as stateless persons who arrive in the territory of the administrative-territorial unit, where the decision of the city council operates, to establish a tourist tax, and are temporarily accommodated in places of residence (overnight stays).

7.3. Tax payers may not be persons who:

  1. a) permanently reside, including under the terms of employment contracts, in a village, town or city, the councils of which have established such a fee;
  2. b) persons specified in the subclause “B” of the subclause 14.1.213 of the clause 14.1 of the Article14 of this Code (RESIDENTS), arriving on a business trip or temporarily accommodated in places of residence (overnight), defined by the subclause “B” of the subclause 268.5.1 of the clause 268.5 of this Article, belong to individuals under the right of ownership or right of use under a contract of employment;

{Subclause “b” of the subclause 268.2.2 of the clause 268.2 of the Article 268 as amended by the Law № 2628-VIII dated 23.11.2018}

  1. c) persons with disabilities, children with disabilities and persons accompanying disabled people of group I or children with disabilities (no more than one accompanying person);
  2. d) war veterans;
  3. e) participants in the aftermath of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant;
  4. f) persons who arrived on booking documents for treatment or recreation of curative, prophylactic, health and fitness and sanatorium-resort institutions licensed to medical practice and accreditation of the central body of the executive power implementing public health policy;
  5. g) children under 18;
  6. h) children’s treatment-and-prophylactic, fitness and sanatorium-resort institutions;
  7. i) family members of an individual of the first and / or second degree of kinship, determined in accordance with the subclause 14.1.213 of the clause 14.1 of the Article 14 of this Code, temporarily placed by such an individual in the places of residence (overnight), defined by the subclause “b” of the subclause 268.5. 1 of the clause 268.5 of this Article belongs to it by right of ownership or right of use under a contract of employment.

7.4. Tax Rate

The collection rate established by the decision of the Odessa City Council, for each day of temporary accommodation of a person in places of residence (overnight), defined by subclause 268.5.1 of Article 268.5 of the Tax Code, in the amount of up to 0.5 percent – for domestic tourism and for inbound tourism of the minimum wage established by law on January 1 of the reporting (tax) year for one person per day of temporary accommodation.
